Incoming Student Mentor Program

In Psi Chi/Psychology Club’s Incoming Student Mentor Program, our goal is to help the new Psychology majors, first years and transfers alike, to find a sense of community and achieve academic excellence during their time here. In this program, incoming students will be paired with a fellow psychology student mentor with similar career goals and interests. This mentor will help aid their mentees through the transition into UCSD by being a helpful and accessible source of information. This mentorship program additionally offers community building events with others in the program such as mixers and other fun events throughout the year.

Annual Psi Beta Day

Every year, Psi Chi at UC San Diego invites members of Psi Beta and psychology clubs in Southern California to campus so that they can learn more about transferring to our school. Attending students learn about the Psychology Department at UCSD as well as our chapter of Psi Chi. Afterwards, they can even hear from faculty in a professor panel and check out a psychology research lab! ​​​
The Psi Beta Day Committee will send out invitations to Psi Beta Day 2025 during the Winter Quarter, so stay tuned!​
