How do I join Psychology Club?
'24 - '25 Registration: OPEN!
For the Psychology Club, just fill out the annual registration. The Psychology Club was founded in order to promote inclusivity. Members have access to all the opportunities that Psi Chi at UCSD offers.

There are no requirements to join the Psychology Club. You can join the Psychology Club at anytime during the academic year; there is no deadline.
How do I join Psi Chi?

For Psi Chi, there is an application process. Members of Psi Chi at UC San Diego are members of Psi Chi International, and in adherence with Psi Chi International's policy, Psi Chi at UC San Diego has minimum requirements to join. Requirements to join Psi Chi at UC San Diego are listed here.

You must complete TWO applications: one for Psi Chi International and one for Psi Chi at UC San Diego. Both applications must be submitted or your application can NOT be processed.
STEPS TO JOIN
1. Complete the Psychology Club at UCSD Registration.

2. Pay $25 chapter dues* each year. You must pay dues in order to vote, join/chair Committees, attend field trips, and attain Distinguished membership status. Funds are used only after a majority vote by members approve the expense.

3. Once we have processed your Registration (takes about 1 week), you will receive an email welcoming you to Psychology Club!

​*There are no refunds for chapter dues.
1. Confirm that you meet the requirements to join Psi Chi.
​
2. Complete and submit the Psi Chi at UC San Diego Application. This is our chapter application.
​
3. Complete and submit Psi Chi International Application. For “Local Chapter,” select “University of California, San Diego.”
​
4. Once your application is approved by your advisor, and an induction date has been set on your account, Psi Chi Headquarters will send you an automated e-mail including a link to make an electronic payment to become an official member of the international organization. Do NOT pay your registration fee until your application has been approved.

5. Pay chapter dues* each year. You must pay dues to be eligible to vote, join/chair Committees, attend field trips, participate in events, and attain Distinguished membership status. Funds are used only after a majority vote by members approves the expense.

6. Membership certificates are presented at the Induction Ceremony (2024 Induction set for May 30th, 6:30 pm). If you are unable to attend, other pick-up options will be arranged.​​​
​
* The one-time Psi Chi registration fee is independent of the chapter dues. There are no refunds for Psi Chi registration fees or chapter dues.
